UpFlip.com is looking for a business, finance and marketing writers.
We've recently launched a business blog and we've got a lot of content that needs to be written. Looking for someone to work with us long term.
The content that you see on there is temporary, it still needs a lot of editing and visuals created.
Each blog post will be between 2,000 - 5,000 words per post.
Please note that we have very high editorial standards compared to most other blogs. Every post that we publish goes through our strict editorial process where we check all claims and ideas for accuracy. We want our to readers trust us and we absolutely must ensure the highest quality content.
You'll be assigned topics by myself and given a submission deadline. It's quite likely that in the first couple of weeks there will be a lot of feedback and editing required. But generally once a writer gets into the swing of things, that part should be minimal.
Note that we only require our writers to write the content, no web formatting or design is required.

Get a feel of the type of content that we are looking for. We'll have a lot of visuals and graphics.
The goal for each post to make it insanely practical and visual, so it'll be expected of you to include text/content for graphics that we'll be creating for each post as the examples above.
We're be creating in depth well researched content with a lot of graphics, if its something that you're not willing to do, then this job might not be for you!
You'll get paid $.07 per word!
If your application is shortlisted, you'll be asked to start with a single (paid) article at $.05 per word so we can see if we're a good fit.
Articles are to be written with no fluff, factually based and be well researched, in a friendly yet professional tone.
We also have a YouTube channel where we interview successful business owners. And one of the other types of content that we will be producing is co-written articles with the actual experts in industry. For example when once we interview someone who started a car dealership, what we'll do is send the questions to the interviewee and then you'll write an article on "how to start a car dealership" based on his answers and interview we did.
Please provide at least 3 samples of similar content you have written and/or published.
