Who We Are

Hi there!

Fugo is a growing, London-based SaaS startup in the digital signage space, and we’re looking for an experienced freelance content writer to join our team on a short term basis to create content for our blog.

We’re at the stage where we need to start upping our content marketing game by building a successful blog - and keeping it growing - that delivers value to our readers, is full of engaging & shareworthy content that establishes our authority and improves our search engine rankings.

Our team is dedicated, but tiny, and we just don’t have time to produce as many quality articles as we need to on a regular basis. That’s where you come in.

Our audience is primarily small businesses that are using TV screens (aka digital signage) to communicate with customers in places like stores, restaurants, healthcare facilities, hotels, etc..

Who You Are

An experienced content creator with a flair for research and crafting original content that drives action and grows audiences! You’re collaborative, open to feedback, and able to hit reasonable deadlines on time. Ideally, you’re interested in working with a B2B and SaaS client who wants more traffic & conversions but has a leaner marketing team ;) 

What You’ll Be Doing

We have curated a preliminary list of keyword targets, parent topics, and article ideas that you’ll be helping us build out and optimize for SEO. You’ll be working from the provided topics, but we welcome creative input and new ideas!

Ideally, you’ll be researching & writing 1-2 articles per week, around 1000 words apiece (the workload can grow as you become more comfortable writing for our niche and subject material.)  

You will have relative freedom to choose the topics you’d like to write about, and you can rest assured we will provide guidelines for the content you write - we will not just hand you a list of keywords & ask you to get to work without any guidance. 


  • Native English speaker (this is non-negotiable as our audience is primarily US & UK based)
  • 2+ years of experience in content writing/content marketing
  • Ability to write non-plagiarized, original content that provides value to readers 
  • Follow the provided article briefs and guidelines, and be able to build on them as well with internal links and organic mentions of our product
  • Demonstrated experience with SEO and optimising content for search engines
  • Comfortable working 100% remotely, communicating via a project management system (we use Notion) and working with an editor 

Terms & Rates

This is a part-time, short term position that will last between 6-12 weeks (this will be reviewed based on workload completion.)

You can choose your own working hours and complete articles on your own time & pace, as long as you’re available for the occasional communication in GMT time (likely a once-a-week call sometime between 10am-3pm.) 

We’ll be paying $0.10 per word, but happy to negotiate if you have a demonstrated expertise in the digital signage niche or want to contribute to keyword research & content strategizing.  

We do ask that you submit samples of your work and complete a short paid test article so we can both determine whether we think we’ll be a good match.
