Who We Are Looking For
- High-quality content writer
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Can commit to projects for the long-term
- At least 3-4 projects per week (3-4 blog posts & 3-4 infographic outlines)
- Looking for a flexible work schedule but communicates effectively via Slack
- Can implement feedback and revisions in a positive way and learn from the changes
What You’ll Do
- Write link bait blog post content, including…
- The use of bucket brigades and other SEO tactics
- Writing content that has value, written in a conversational tone
- The use of proper citations throughout the content
- The ability to thoroughly research a topic
- Best practices for generating click-worthy titles and descriptive H2 headers
- Write infographic outlines, including...
- Familiarity with different styles and formats of infographics
- Ability to format content in concise and interesting ways without fluff
- Finding relevant and current statistics from original and credible sources
- Have an eye for design, or simply clear writing that can be turned into visuals by our design team
- Overall:
- Write a blog post on a given topic that provides value to the reader, with information supported by sources and data/statistics
- Create an infographic outline on a similar topic, with content that complements and supports the blog post without repeating information or language
- Have an idea of how and where the visuals can be used in the blog article--based on your outline, can the infographic be broken up into sections and included in specific sections of the content, should certain stats be pulled from either and left as standalone visuals in the content, etc.
