Blog formatting (WordPress layout, image editing) position

We are looking for a blog formatter. This is a freelance position that offers a steady stream of work (5-10 hours/week).

Responsibilities include:

• Uploading copy and images into WordPress.
• Following brand style guidelines to ensure posts are up to standards.
• Formatting images to fit style guides and have matching aspect ratios.
• Minimal HTML coding (e.g. manually adding links to image galleries which do not have WYSIWYG functionality).

You should have:

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Fantastic attention to detail.
• Regular availability (i.e. 1-2 days a week that you will have open for formatting; which days/times are flexible).
• Good communication skills. You will be working with multiple editors and will have to communicate the statuses of their projects to them.
• Good English language skills. You may be asked to write captions and/or alt tags for images.
• Comfort working with images and image galleries. We are a design-related site, and our blog posts are image-heavy.

Pay is commiserate with experience.
