OneSky is a Hong Kong-based startup that provides cutting-edge and easy solutions to localize websites & mobile apps. We offer translation service of more than 40 languages for developers.
To boost our inbound marketing efforts, we are now looking for someone who loves to create awesome content that drives business results (namely quality leads for the sales team). He/she is responsible for building our blog readership.
The ideal candidate is a combination of prolific writer/editor with sharp and motivated business mind that loves the philosophy, methodology, and tactics behind inbound marketing and client-first business practices.
This role has loads of creative freedom and balances the speed and business goals of OneSky with the need to deeply resonate with an audience emotionally and intellectually. As a relatively new part of our company, there is huge growth for this role, as an individual writer or as a people manager according to your goals.
You will be responsible for the following:
*Develop and execute the editorial calendar of our blog
*Build and manage a team of paid bloggers
*Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers
*Engage tech media, journalist, and PR opportunities
*Research and develop our understanding of information needs and interests of the target audiences
*Optimize content for search engines and lead generation.
*Conduct analytical projects to improve blog strategies/tactics.
The right candidate will have the following skills and abilities:
*At least 2-3 years experience in online content production, preferably for a software/tech company
*Working knowledge of how to build an audience by writing great content that is both SEO-friendly and outrageously share-worthy
*A love of writing and the desire to write content all day every day
*The ability to research and learn new things, and teach those new things to others through written or visual content
*A passion for tech startups and helping build companies
*Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS will also be highly appreciated
*Self-motivated, highly self-sufficient and able to work in an agile environment
