DueDilio is an M&A due diligence marketplace that connects business buyers and private investors with quality, pre-vetted due diligence service providers.  Our network of due diligence providers can tackle finance, legal, technology, operations, marketing, and other types of business due diligence projects.  Our typical clients are searchers, independent sponsors, SMBs, and private investors.

Think of us like Upwork, UpCounsel, Graphite but only for M&A due diligence.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for freelancer(s) that can help us write blogs, articles, and possibly social media posts.

The goal is to educate our website visitors, increase brand awareness, and have a positive impact on website SEO.

We're looking for anywhere from 2 to 4 pieces of content per month.

Topics

The topics we need to write about are M&A due diligence and investor due diligence.  These topics can be somewhat technical.

The articles can cover the topic of due diligence from many angles such as technology, legal, finance, operations, marketing, industry research, and more.

Here is a small list of example topics:

  • How to perform financial due diligence when acquiring an HVAC business
  • 10 things to watch out for when reviewing client contracts when acquiring a service business
  • Why is HR and benefits due diligence important?
  • Unique aspects of due diligence for a plumbing business
  • Analyzing SDE vs. EBITDA when performing financial due diligence
  • 10 questions investors should be asking founders before investing in a business
  • Why perform digital marketing due diligence when acquiring a local business?
  • How to conduct client and employee interviews during the due diligence process
  • When to perform a Quality of Earnings analysis and why?
  • Why is market research an important part of the due diligence process?

Some of these topics are clearly more technical compared to others.

Requirements

  • Very proficient in the English language
  • Understanding of the M&A due diligence process
  • Be able to write about complicated topics in an easy to understand way
  • Can write 2 to 4 articles per month
  • Perform original research on a given topic
