We are looking for a talented blog / article writer with a passion for and experience of backyard astronomy.
Love the Night Sky is a growing website aimed at new and aspiring astronomers. Our mission is to help backyard astronomers learn to Love the Night Sky with helpful and informative articles.
Ready to grow our content rapidly, we need someone with knowledge and passion for astronomy to come on board and help us.
(Please note - we have used writers with no experience of astronomy and it just doesn't work. Please only apply if you can demonstrate a passion for and experience of backyard astronomy).
If successful, you will be given an initial list of subjects to choose from and a full brief of how to write for us. You can expect an article per week of around 1000 words, for which we pay $50.
We are looking for a long term partnership that works for us both. If you get to the stage of publishing five articles on the website, you will get your own author bio with link to a site/social profile of your choice.

You stand most chance of being successful if you share examples of your writing (which doesn't have to be about astronomy, but should be 'how to' style articles) and demonstrate that you are an active and interested backyard astronomer - how you choose to do that we leave up to you.
