Description
We're looking for a content writer with experience in the fitness market and in the marketing space to write engaging, high-value articles for our blog in the personal trainer market.
We're specifically looking for actionable, practical useful and EVERGREEN content that teach our audience how to use tools, technology and specific strategies to get more customers and reduce the overwhelm that goes with understanding the "how" behind the "what" when it comes to marketing strategies.
You should know of some of the players in the market (PTDirect, TotalCoaching, FitnessMentors, etc) and ideally you’re also familiar with QuickSprout, Neil Patel, Unbounce or similar sites. We’re looking to bring the value of Neil Patel to the personal trainer market and we won’t accept anything of lesser quality.
Our readers are personal trainers who are starting in their business or are already well into running their business with clients. They have a need to grow and build a more predictable personal training business, that’s where we come in.
We're looking for pieces that are 2,500 - 5,000 words, and should fall into the "how-to" categories.
Great examples:
- 19 Personal Training Marketing Ideas that will get You More Clients
- 21 Tips for Promoting your Personal Training Business
- The Definitive Guide To Personal Trainer Marketing
We have some strict guidelines, here’s an example:
- For every 1,000 words of content, there should be 15 - 25 outbound links to influencers and references in the space for later promotion
We are not - at this time - interested in opinion pieces, narratives or "soft" motivational pieces (mindset, generic goal-setting etc).
We’re looking to work with people initially on a per article basis. If we like your work then we’ll bring you on a monthly contract for a set number of articles per month.
Please send an outline of a pitch article with a proposed headline and five bullet points to summarize the content. Please also send along two examples of articles that you have written that you feel would be a good fit.
You must know a bit about the WordPress platform as we’ll require that you enter your content into our WordPress site yourself (images and all - ready to publish).
