Job Description:
We're looking to build our base of contributing writers for our growing number of client projects. As a BMG contributor, you'll be responsible for producing smart, interest takes on the cryptocurrency topics, helping provide educational crypto-content for clients, and identifying and writing longer pieces that will create buzz and generate insight.
What You’ll Do:
• Work with a content team to deliver top-notch and outstanding quality content
• Write original long-form pieces (1,000-2,500 words) for various cryptocurrency clients and blockchain projects
• Help construct engaging newsletters with quality content and occasionally help craft other email communication
What You’ll Bring:
• Background in and/or passion for cryptocurrency, investing, and markets
• Ability to write in a compelling, original voice
• Passion for impacting the world through creative insights and education
• Deep familiarity with DecodingDigital.io vocal style and voice (yes, this is a posting for Byte Media Group, but Decoding Digital, one of our clients/projects, has the writing style that you'll be using)
• Ability to submit outstanding work on ambitious deadlines
• An eye for humor and engaging content
• A love for cryptocurrency, markets, finance and pop culture news
• Coachability and willingness to improve
• Get sh*t done attitude
• Ability to make things happen quickly (and communicate quickly)
• Ability to structure content in engaging, coherent narrative with impeccable grammar.
What We Need From You:
Please submit three writing samples and two ideas for the Deep Dive stories that you think the Decoding Digital audience will love. A title is all we require.
