I am an experienced writer with a robust client roster and plenty of references. I have written blog posts, articles (including SEO optimized pieces), books (both under my own name and as a nonfiction ghostwriter), and so much more! I love writing for and about women, outdoor life, culture, the home, and history -- but I also have experience in technology (business), finance, startups, and many other "hard" categories relating to STEM and entrepreneurship.
I've spent a lot of time learning and gaining industry literacy on the fly, and my extremely diverse portfolio is a testament to that. I could niche down...but I simply enjoy writing about anything and everything! New topics are a fun challenge, while old topics are a way to deepen my knowledge. It's a win-win!
I am also the managing editor for a growing publication (The Fem Word), and have been a freelance editor for over 5 years. I have experience managing a team of writers, but I also enjoy working solo. I prefer to edit nonfiction pieces that don't involve too much technical jargon (think self-help and education, not industry guides).

Education
Completed a four year degree and graduated cum laude. I double majored and made either the dean's or president's list seven out of eight semesters.
Experience
Wrote and published a trilogy of books within the Fantasy & Romance Genre (The Jewel Chronicles).
Writing career is ongoing, and includes the help of a professional editor, cover designer, and a team of paid beta readers.
I have long-term experience working with and managing all of these parties, and have successfully marketed books within these genres using platforms such as Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, Booksy, BookFunnel, and more.
I manage a team of writers and interns working on both written and video content for a women-focused publication. I host meetings, perform mentorship duties, edit content (mostly written), and set deadlines.
As the most senior writer on the team, I handle most of our partnered (sponsored) content and parlay with our partners on a regular basis. I develop content calendars, write articles, perform research, and format pieces on our website. I answer directly to the CEO and founders.
I write content for a roster of clients in the finance, health, culture, and media industries. Most of this content takes the form of blogs or articles -- but includes press releases, syndicated research articles, biographic material, and other items as well.
Wrote, formatted, and edited press releases on a large variety of topics. Answered calls, emails, and chats from clients in need of editorial support.
