Description
I am seeking writers that are proficient in researching and crafting thoughtful and engaging blog content, and articles. I would like a minimum of 3 articles per week (sometimes more if possible) and the work will be regular.
The starting rate is 0.04 cents per word and you will be a ghostwriter - the content may not be published in your name. This rate is negotiable if your work is of exceptionally high quality.
You must be:
- Native English speaking and able to write in US English
- Preferably interested in writing about food and/or sports
- Able to write engaging articles without ‘fluff’
- Responsive to any communication
You will not be asked to write for SEO and the focus will be on creating a valuable resource for the reader on the given topic. Your writing must be original and any sources used mentioned.
You will be working directly with an experienced Editor who will provide feedback.
Writing Guidelines
- Articles should be written and shared in Google Docs
- Start the article with an engaging opening that answers the question and gives the reader what they came for.
- Use bullet points when making lists (article should include at least one list.)
- Don't keyword stuff - write naturally and our Editor will complete any SEO.
- The text should be easy to read and well spread out - no huge paragraphs.
- Use clear, relevant headings for separate paragraphs.
- List your sources at the end of the article (this is important). Can include youtube videos, websites, and photos.
- Avoid ‘fluff’ to pad out articles - eg ‘..there are lots of choices when considering X for Y and in this article, we will help you choose’.
- Include at least one link to a site supporting factual information (not a product link).
Product Guidelines
If the article you are writing is recommending products you must:
- Include links to the product
- Make sure the product is in stock for the target region (usually the US)
- Include a variety of products
- Do not recommend the same product with a different brand name (these are called white label products)
