Description

Looking for writers that are passionate about the Magic The Gathering Card Game and are well versed in how the game works. Would prefer someone that is an active player of the game and is up to date on the current card game meta.

Are also looking for Pokemon and YuGiOh TCG writers, but in fewer numbers.

If you don't have any real experience playing the card game, do not apply.

Our editors are all players of TCGs for this project and will be able to tell quickly from the way you write how familiar you are with the card game.

looking to have blog posts written on the topic of the Magic The Gathering Trading Card Game. You will be given a headline/ topic to write about along with the word length expected of the article.

All articles will often be at least 1000 words, but some topics may not require as many words.

The longest post that will typically ask writers to produce is 2500 words, but these are not that common and are typically given to more experienced writers.

We typically do $30 - $40 for 1,000 words and if a writer turns in something over 1,000 words we'll add an additional 0.03 - 0.04 per word on anything over that depending on the writer's skill level. (Please note any content that is considered unnecessary padding will not be counted - quality over quantity)

Writers that continue to produce good work overtime can look to increase these rates potentially.

The target audience is people who are relatively new to the game. These are people who may have played or collected the game when they were younger, but are coming back to it later in life. You can expect the reader to already have a very basic understanding of the card game.

Example articles will also potentially be given to you so you have a better understanding of what is expected from your final draft.

We are looking for ghostwriters, so the publishing website will be credited as the author and has all rights to any and all published content that is paid for.

Ideally, we are looking for some who can write for us long-term and form a relationship with us. We prioritize quality over quantity and so we typically only ask for 2 - 4 posts from a single writer a month.

For more experienced writers we would consider increasing that amount if they ask.

We are looking to have over 1,000 pieces of content produced, so great for those looking for a long-term writing opportunity.
