Content Writer Required for Guitar Website

We are a team of passionate hobby musicians who have a passion for guitars, amps, basses, effects, and everything guitar gear. Our goal is to pass on our knowledge of guitar-related topics to make one of the best resources on the web for all guitar nerds.
We are looking for a passionate and skilled content writer with experience in the niche to join our team of writers. The person must have experience writing around topics within this industry.
What we are looking for
- You must have a love for guitars and all topics related to guitar gear.
- You are committed to ongoing work
- Be able to craft a compelling article that offers value and something readers and google love.
- You are passionate about the research process, as the content you create needs to be supported with relevant examples
- You should be able to contribute 1-3 articles a month to ensure you have time to craft quality posts
- You must be able to follow our content briefs that make crafting articles easy and pain-free
- You must be familiar with using Google Docs
- You must be a native English writer
The content focuses on guitar gear such as guitars, basses, amplifiers, pedals, guitar tones, and many guitar-related topics. For example, “how to get a funk guitar tone” or “tube amp vs solid-state amplifier.”
- Common types of articles include detailed guides, lists,” how to post”, answers to common questions, product research, and comparisons.
- Each article will be 1200 - 3000 words so you can display how well you can add value to the web.
- You'll be assigned a content brief that breaks down the article into easy sections so you can easily craft informative and engaging posts.
- US English writing is a must
- Each article focuses on answering Google’s specific questions on the web with quality content that offers value
- Training and a full brief will be provided to help you understand how I want the content to be written.
- The articles you will be assigned are not designed to be creative or flamboyant. They are aimed to answer specific questions with an easy-to-read tone of voice.
You must provide examples of previously written articles related to guitar gear to prove your experience and expertise in the industry.
If accepted you will be assigned a test article to examine your ability to write quality content and follow content briefs. Successful candidates will be given regular and ongoing work.
I am looking to pay $30-$50 for a 2000 word article depending on experience and your ability to write quality and valuable content.
As a side note, you are not required to upload articles on WordPress so no design or formatting skills are required.
