Description
We are seeking a passionate content Editor available 30+ hours a week with excellent editorial, reading, writing, and organizational skills to be part of our growing team. You’ll be responsible for editing perfect, accurate and well-researched copy that will engage our audience, rank well in Google and be both informative and engaging.
This position has flexible hours and lets you work from anywhere. You'll be working in a well established company of 70+ people with a start-up culture, with many opportunities for promotion, bonuses, and advancement.
Here’s what you’ll be doing and the skills and experience that we’re looking for
**Specific Role Experience and Competency [Importance 50%]**
**Editing Web Content and Articles [Importance 40%]**
What you’ll be doing
- Ensure articles follow our style guidelines and are well-written, skimmable, and provide great answers using provided SEO keywords
- Editing at least ten, 3,000-word articles a week
- Ensuring all articles have no spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors
- Ensuring the written and visual content of the article is engaging
- Work with our advertising partners for the assigned niches to ensure articles are compliant with their guidelines
What you’ll need
Mandatory
- Fluent in English
- 1-3+ years of proven experience writing, proofreading, or editing
- Can translate ideas and complex research into attractive, precise copy that engages and informs audiences
**Niche Specific Requirements [Importance 10%]**
- Experience in editing igaming & casino articles a plus
- Knowledge of igaming and casino regulations / online gambling a plus
**Article SEO [Importance 20%]**
What you’ll be doing
- Checking/supporting writers to ensure content adheres to SEO best practices to improve keyword ranking.
- Optimize for SEO performance.
What you’ll need
Desirable
- Be interested and confident quick learner of softwares (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience with SEO tools such as SurferSEO, adRefs or similar.
