DESCRIPTION
We have consistent and on-going work for a few writers to create well-researched and engaging web content for our portfolio of web properties.
Content type can include long-form articles, list based articles, reviews, curated works etc. in a wide variety of niches.
But some of the more immediate requirements include work in the music and retail space.
Day-to-Day duties can involve:
-Content writing
-Researching, image sourcing, curating
-Enhancing content for better readability
-Creating content briefs
This is all in-house work and you'll work closely with us to produce the content pieces. In a lot of the cases we will provide content briefs which you can use as a starting point.
We are looking for someone who can research and understand the audience and create engaging content and NOT someone who will Google a keyword, see the top results and rewrite those.
REQUIREMENTS
-US Native English writer level
-Prior experience creating web content
-Strong research skills
-Attention to detail
-Ability to work independently
-Should have bandwidth to do at least 3 to 5 pieces a week or 20 articles a month
COMPENSATION
Depending on experience, but the range would be around 3c to 5c a word.
VETTING PROCESS
We will definitely need examples of prior writing experience that highlight skills like - research, reviews, curated lists, understanding the audience etc.
