Our goal is to provide trustworthy and accurate articles to help homeowners repair their house, or transform it into their dream house, one project at a time.
About The Role
Multiple writers are needed to produce 2 to 5 pieces of content per week on an ongoing basis related to home improvement.
Our goal is to hire only writers who have experience in home improvement, so if you have experience in this field, let us know!
What We're Looking For
We are looking for writers who are subject matter experts in home improvement. You must have experience in the area of home improvement and/ or have published home improvement articles.
This person will be able to contribute a minimum of 2-5 articles @ 600 - 3000 words per article.
Our Ideal Candidate
Is/was involved in one of the following home improvement categories:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- House Remodel (painting, cabinets, sheetrock)
- Flooring
- Licensed Contractors/ Home Inspectors
- Understands what slope is needed for a drain line
- Knows what it means to tape and float
- Knows what killz is
- Knows what hardie plank is
- Can meet deadlines and deliver actionable content
- Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
Compensation
We will pay $0.03 - 0.10 a word depending on experience and credentials.
Home improvement experience in the field is a big plus, if you have experience we can make something work.
Do You Need To Have Experience In Home Improvement?
Yes, it is required that you have experience.
We have a high editorial standard that we must maintain to ensure the content we produce meets and exceeds the expectations of our readers through the production of "actionable insights" that are valuable to our readers.
