Description
We are looking for a freelance writer with experience writing on finance topics for CFOs and FP&A roles in SaaS and tech brands. Must have in-depth knowledge and experience writing for SaaS finance topics. Ideally, you have previous experience in a related SaaS finance role (huge plus if you've been in a finance leadership role!)
Possible topics include writing about:
- The role of FP&A and how it's evolving to be more strategic
- Which costs scale linearly and which don't
- Variance analysis
- Aligning engineering and finance on cloud cost
- How to decide which customers are most valuable to your business
- Calculating SaaS COGS
- Financial KPIs
- SaaS forecasting
Ideally, we're looking for someone who can break down these complex topics into simple, straightforward advice/education. Our readers are CFOs, VPs of Finance, Heads of FP&A, Directors of Finance, etc. You must be able to write for this audience.
Most blog post topics will be provided but we are happy to hear any ideas you have that might be relevant to our audience! This writer should be fluent in English and must be located in the US.
