Description
We are a salon SaaS providing software to hair and beauty salons, spas, massage therapists, and barbershops worldwide.
Our target reader is in their 30, mostly female salon owners with little attention span, looking for ideas, inspiration, guidance, reading mostly when having a break between clients.
We are seeking intermediate/experienced, passionate, and energetic writers.
Experience in writing on female/beauty/wellness business/fashion or small business management related topics is a must.
The writer must also be a native English speaker, able to write in a conversational tone.
We have our user experience / SEO optimized content structure and layout, which we will share with those shortlisted candidates.
Articles would need to be informative, not repetitive, engaging, not packed with filler words, and easy to read. Think Brian Dean / Neil Patel, i.e., conversational style, short paragraphs, passive sentences, etc.
No pictures, tables, or special formatting required.
This position will allow you to work around your own schedule from home/remotely.
Important:
You will need to research the topics to write content that provides real value, not just a rehash of what you googled on the topic… We also do not accept work coming from tools like conversion.ai, copy.ai, quillbot, etc.
Our Process:
We will work together on our content plan and working together on which topics to author next.
Each topic will have an article brief containing content tables and details of which keywords should be included and how many times, things to be mentioned, the length of the article, and how much will be paid for that article. In other words, our brief will set you up for successful content.
Topics would include guides for salon owners and stylists on salon marketing ideas, digital, business strategy, how to increase sales, clients, salon management, to name a few.
Each base article will be re-written for each of our business categories, i.e., hair salon, barber, or spa. For example, hair salon business strategies, barber business strategies, and spa business strategies (each passing Copyscape checks).
We use SurferSEO, so a willingness to comply with the parameters set and experience with this tool would be a big bonus, but we also offer training.
