Description
We're looking for exceptional, detail-oriented, long-from content marketers who have experience working with or a passion for psychedelics & plant medicine such as ayahuasca, psilocybin, and DMT.
Must have a working knowledge of SEO, understand content marketing and conversion, and the ability to write authoritative guides that boil complex topics down to plain language.
Content topics include:
- Deep dives into a specific psychedelics
- Science writing to break down research and scientific studies into summaries of key takeaways that are digestible to the public.
- Comprehensive guides on anything from "the legality of psilocybin in the USA" to stories such as “I did a 7-day silent meditation retreat and here’s what I found". These guides will be steeped in research and detailed comparisons to demonstrate a deep knowledge of the products offered
- Well-researched reviews and roundups of best retreat centers, upcoming events, etc.
You won't write:
- About your personal trips or experiences
- Buzzfeed style entertainment articles (no "5 travel destinations you should never visit")
Must have:
- Experience writing long-form, evergreen articles that are well-optimized -- not only for search, but also for user experience and conversion.
- The knowledge that "long form" doesn't mean "rambling". Every single word pulls its weight.
- Track record in creating exceptional content, with meticulous attention to detail.
- You can English like the pros.
- The ability to take feedback and action it in the rest of the work assigned.
- Deep understanding of what makes good, solid research and what's mostly bullshit.
- The ability to write 5-10 articles/month and thrive on meeting deadlines.
