I communicate complex ideas the simplest way possible. I’m a copywriter and audio producer with 10 years of experience in B2B marketing and five years as a freelance writer. Education
I studied how religion influences culture and vice versa. My specialty was exploring how religious themes show up in pop culture and how they evolve outside of the context of organized religion.
I was a double-major studying contemporary philosophy as well as English literature.
Experience
PlayGrounding began as a podcast in 2016. I've been diversifying the platform content to include articles, a podcast with a new format as well as video.
I began freelancing for financial services, writing white papers for Experian and campaign content for Banc of California. In 2016 I began my own platform, PlayGrounding and began working with Mind Matters Institute in 2017. I'm currently focusing on mental health and self-help.
For Experian Corporate Marketing, I led the strategy team that built the marketing and PR plan for their flagship business unit in FY14. During a time of reorganization, I made sure my business unit was well-educated about the changes, their needs were being met and their goals achieved.
I was an early adopter and power user for their new CMS and marketing automation system.
I managed the marketing budget for Experian’s CIS business unit responsible for $6M/yr in revenue.
I managed a monthly client newsletter with a circulation of ~60,000 clients.
I hosted social media trainings for sales and product management.
I was a marketing consultant for small to mid-sized companies. It was a great opportunity to learn about the world of small business while so many were struggling to stay afloat.
I created and launched the rebranded Emulex Connect Partner Program and won CRN’s 5-Star Award in their annual Partner Program Guide for 201.
I led seminars for sales and product managers to learn to use social media.
I advised clients about using marketing analytics and KPIs to help them make strategic decisions.
I ran the marketing side of Ingram Micro’s Solution Center, a technology demo center featuring enterprise-level servers, storage, IP surveillance and telephony.
I was a part of the very first demand generation team at Ingram Micro. I also ran, promoted & hosted weekly events in both the Orange County, CA and Buffalo, NY facilities
