Demand Media Studios is hiring writers to participate in our popular “Write for a Cause†children’s book campaign. Today, through the end of August, new and existing writers will have each article they create count toward a large book donation to underprivileged kids across the country. For every 8 articles our community writes, 1 book will be donated. In the previous two Write for a Cause campaigns, our community worked together to raise more than 26,000 books. Apply today to become a Demand Media Studios writer and use your creative talents to increase childhood literacy.
How it Works:
• Every article written between August 12 – 31 will go toward a children’s book donation
• Have a chance to vote on your favorite children’s books
• Receive fun prizes including signed books and recognition certificates

About the Ideal Candidate:
• Passion for writing
• Clear and concise writing style
• Proficiency with internet research
• Familiarity with AP writing style is a plus
About the Job:
• Build your online visibility with bylines on each published article
• Have your work featured on sites like USAToday.com, eHow.com and LIVESTRONG.com
• Select writing assignments from a database with thousands of titles and topics
