Probably the best writing job on on problogger at the moment and an ongoing position. Despite having an old world feel we are fun loving and a great bunch of people to work with.
We are a bespoke tailor www.oscarhunt.com.au operating in Melbourne and about to operate in Sydney also. We are looking for a regular part time ongoing copy writer/blogger to work on our new blog and eDM content. We have a blog at http://oscarhunt.tumblr.com/ that we will want daily posts for, as well as social media posts. (We will want someone to assist with the web copy for oscarhunt.com.au) The blog will be getting migrated to a new site in about 8 -12 weeks.
We think this will be a 15-20 hour a week proposition and need someone who can commit to this. We are also happy to work on a per word basis as some writers have indicated a preference for that, otherwise we can work on a by article rate.
We need someone who is not only a great writer and editor, but who can also keep our brand's voice consistent across daily published content. We are also preparing several how-to guides which we would look to you to write for us. We will also be looking at producing some outreach posts that will be on other blogs.
We want a blogger who will understand our buyer personas so well that published content addresses their needs, wants, and problems.
Job Description:
We are seeking a savvy wordsmith to join our blogging team. Candidates must have a knack and love for writing, a comprehensive understanding of the industry, and experience in blogging to achieve business goals. The blogger will be expected to sustain and develop the company's voice across all blog content.
Responsibilities:
Writing various types of articles on a wide range of topics for our blog that could include suiting tips, lifestyle, fashion, and wining and dining.
Providing feedback to other contributors, and editing other writers' content.
Optimizing content for search engines and lead generation.
Contributing to long-form content projects such as ebooks.
Requirements:
A passion and strong understanding of the industry and our business' mission.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content.
Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
