Description
Theme Park Tourist is the web's leading source of news, reviews and guides for theme parks all over the world. We are planning a major relaunch of the site in April 2013, and are putting together a team of outstanding writers to support our goals.
We are currently looking for an Orlando-based writer to provide regular updates and articles about Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and other theme parks in the area. Specifically, we are looking for a talented writer who is:
- A current Walt Disney World Annual Passholder
- Able to provide regular (at least monthly) photo updates from Walt Disney World, showing off construction work on new rides, special events, etc.
- Able to provide regular (at least monthly) articles about Orlando-area theme parks, such as Top 10 lists, editorial pieces, hotel and ride reviews, etc.
The successful applicant will have a large degree of freedom - you'll be able to pitch your own article ideas, and we're also happy for you to link to your personal blog (if you have one).
Pay rates:
- $30 per Walt Disney World photo update, including at least 10 photos and 1,000 words
- $0.02 per word for other articles, up to a maximum of $20 per article
