Description

Good Content helps B2B companies accelerate their sales and marketing efforts by building content marketing and demand generation engines around their executives’ thought leadership. We primarily create Linkedin content for individual executives, sourced from both 1-on-1 interviews and video podcasts.

  • Useful insights, NOT fluffy clickbait
  • Conversational, NOT corporate
  • Skimmable, NOT dense
  • Niche, NOT broad

We service high-growth B2B companies and help them become valuable, trusted sources of information within their niche.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking to work with a writer who will play a pivotal role in crafting these thought leadership pieces and working directly with clients to develop strategy and source material:

  • Crafting engaging and impactful LinkedIn thought leadership posts that resonate with target audiences.
  • Working directly with clients to develop their content strategy, tone, style, and subject matter.
  • Conducting 1-on-1 recorded interviews with clients to generate material for content creation.
  • Taking ownership of client projects from initial concept development to final execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables that exceed expectations.
  • Conducting thorough research on clients, their products, target audiences, and relevant industry trends to inform content creation.
  • Mastering and adopting Good Content's best practices, style, and formatting requirements across all written materials.
  • Collaborating with our small but dynamic content team to establish best practices and foster a culture of excellence. Identifying opportunities to enhance our current systems and processes, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborating closely with clients and team members in a highly iterative and collaborative environment. We are a small team and growing quickly.

We are looking for a freelance engagement at this time, though given our size and maturity, this is an opportunity to make a big impact and grow with us.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Proven journalism experience
  • Experience with Linkedin content writing and audience development
  • Experience with executive ghostwriting and/or executive thought leadership content Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and a talent for crafting compelling narratives
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and coach high-level executives through the content creation process
  • Strong research abilities, with the capacity to gather and synthesize information from diverse sources Strong business acumen, with a thorough understanding of what drives customer value across a range of industries
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • A passion for learning and staying up-to-speed with industry trends and channel best practices
  • Experience working in a remote or freelance capacity is a plus
