We are a leading online education company in corporate finance and AI, seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter to drive revenue growth.
You will report to the CEO and CMO and will be responsible for both writing copy for our broadcast, sequences, blog and social media, and more importantly, editing the writing of junior staff, with a focus on making the copy more direct response focused (improving open rate, click rate, and of course conversion/purchase rate and so on)
You’ll manage our team that handles the 2x a week email broadcast and sale, managing our weekly blog posts, managing our outbound affiliate campaigns, doing blog writing yourself both from scratch, from AI, and also. editing that of other writers. You'll be reporting back the results in an easy to understand format.
As you can see we're a small organization of about 10 people so you may need to wear many hats but you will have the CEO and CMO to guide you.
Knowledge of corporate finance (things a fractional CFO, finance manager etc, would be interested in), isn't required but is definitely a massive plus.
*********Responsibilities**********:
*Managing our 2x a week emails that broadcast updates + a sale each week.
*BLOG WRITING: Part of this job includes not only checking other writers work, but doing blog writing yourself in corporate finance
*Implement new email funnels and sequences, and modify old ones as necessary.
*Manage our 1-2x a week blog posts, including making sure the writers do the work, checking for SEO optimization, images, and simply the work is done.
*Assist us in measuring performance using analytics, spreadsheets, and any tools necessary
(Once you are settled in with your initial tasks, there may be expanded hours with management or assistance in managing our customer service agent or social media manager, but they are not responsibilities you will get right)
********Mandatory Requirements******
*Minimum 2 years experience managing other people in a remote team, if you are not used to delegating and editing this job is NOT for you.
*C2 level written English, C1 level spoken English
*Previous experience working with WordPress, ConvertKit, Asana, and analytics tools. Experience working with other similar tools is acceptable.
*********Preferred Qualifications*********
*Basic knowledge of on-site SEO
*Has done in digital marketing for an online education business
*Knowledge of corporate finance
*We are a small team so you will be wearing many hats so diversity in experience when working online is a big plus.
*Previous experience blog writing, even better if you have some background with sales oriented copywriting
*Experience with sales funnels, understands the basics of email marketing
*The closer to Central Europe (CEST) timezone, the better.
Rate: Negotiable - Can be per word, per hour, retainer, or some combination, we can discuss.
Expectations: ~10/hr a week
