Description

Are you a gifted writer who can draft compelling content swiftly and effectively? We are looking for remote, project-based assistance to help draft EEOC Charges, court complaints, and demand letters. This role is ideal if you are a natural writer—someone who writes like the wind and has a writer's ear.
While you don’t need to be a lawyer, legal knowledge is a definite plus, especially if you have experience or interest in civil rights and sex-based discrimination cases, as well as advocacy for the rights of underrepresented groups.

This role is perfect for someone in transition, such as a lawyer-turned-new parent looking to stay professionally active on a flexible schedule, or any sharp-minded individual passionate about making a difference through precise and impactful writing.

Key Requirements:
* Exceptional writing ability with the capability to produce clear, persuasive, and concise content.
* Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively with clients to ensure accuracy and authenticity of the documents.
* Interest in civil rights, particularly in advocating for women and historically marginalized communities, is highly desirable.
* Legal background is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation: $50 - $100 per hour, depending on experience and specific skills. We value expertise in legal content writing and are prepared to offer competitive compensation reflective of your ability to produce high-quality work. This role is perfect for candidates seeking flexible, part-time opportunities with the potential to impact significant civil rights and discrimination cases. Additionally, for the right candidate, there is potential for this position to evolve into full-time employment. We are committed to equitable pay and transparency in line with New York's pay transparency laws.

Benefits:
* Flexible work hours perfect for new parents or those transitioning back into the workforce.
* Opportunity to contribute to meaningful cases involving civil rights and discrimination.
* Work remotely from anywhere.

We value diversity and encourage anyone with a passion for justice and equality to apply, especially if you’re eager to support cases that make a difference. If you're ready to contribute to our dynamic team and help us drive important changes, we would love to hear from you!
