I graduated from Texas A&M university with a major in public policy in 2018 and ended up working in the consulting industry for the next 3 years until…

I realized I was proficient in using, editing, researching and proofreading words, and hence the term copy writing. Working in business consulting with companies including Oracle and RSM had its perks, but the work was boring. Little did I know at the time my consulting job was preparing me for copywriting.

I wrote tons of reports for my clients from industries ranging from health, business, fitness and tech. Based in the San Francisco area, the cut throat competition helped me perfect my writing skills. Interacting with CEO’S and managers when preparing industry reports widened my horizon and honed my writing skills. This in turn helped me manage time efficiently, giving me an edge over others.

I moved back to Lahore, Pakistan in 2022 to cater to a more diverse set of opportunities. Ever since I have been working with the biggest private university in Lahore with more than 36,000 students, researching, reading and writing.

My why is simple!  Writing is LeBron James of the NBA or Tiger Woods of golf. It is the great art of influencing .People rely too much on flashy PowerPoints and dazzling reports. But nothing can succeed unless you are able to clearly explain your idea to the customer. Here is where I can add value and aim to grow upwards.

People say technology is the future, I differ. The power of using words to influence is unbelievable. That is why I have made writing my permanent companion. More like my best friend. Robots cannot cry but humans can. This is a good thing, since only we can realize that emotion and build our case accordingly. Tears and emotions have value.  As a student of psychology, I can help understand and explain things that Chat GPT cannot.

My experience in writing copy is diversified from Facebook ads, sales letter, emails campaign to website content. My aim is to write engaging content, which helps in creating value for my clientele.

Unlike hard work and determination, I cannot manually enhance my experience. Experience is always a plus, but novices do wonders too. Tom Brady was the 199th draft in the NFL, but ended up as the GOAT! The one thing, however which I can absolutely promise is that I will give it my all and never stop learning and improving.
