Hello there,
As a writer I always struggle with cover letters or generally talking about myself. People believe this ought to come naturally or be easier for writers but I find it hard.
The truth is I have been working in different content roles for 5 years. I got my first job as a content writer because an agency owner found some personal essays on my Facebook profile and thought I was a good writer. Along the way I have picked up a lot of skills in SEO, content strategy, content marketing, PR and writing for user intent.
Until May I worked as a Content marketer for Growrk Remote where I collaborated with the Product marketing team to create product-led content that increased their blog traffic by 15% and Users by 12% in 3 montths. While working in the role, I learned more about SEO, research and interviewing experts so as to write more expertly on Information Technology and Human Resources topics.
While in this role I wrote blogposts on IT, MDM, asynchronous communication, manging remote teams, setting up IT components for work from home spaces and onboarding employees remotely.
I have been freelancing since may, I have worked with a lot of clients in the Edtech, SaaS, HR and cybersecurity space. I’m curious and a big believer of learning constantly. I’m a team player and I’m passionate about technology, who wouldn’t be? Taking into account how tech has shaped our lives as humans.
I believe the experience I have garnered from years of writing and working in different content roles would be instrumental in contributing value to result oriented teams. As an out of the box creative who is currently looking for team where her work would be appreciated with room for growth, I would love to chat about exciting opportunities. I’m a storyteller and a researcher who understand how important it is for a writer to understand in order to write clear, concise and exiting content for their readers. Getting Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and communication was one of the defining points in my life. While getting my degree, I gained leadership skills, proactiveness and the importance of hard work.
