Every year we like to highlight how powerful it is to have a platform and influence online and we also like to showcase people who are using their influence to effect social good and change.<\/p>\n

This year, in line with PBEVENT’s focus on influence, we challenged you to show us how you have used your “influence to make a difference”. The challenge was for the opportunity to speak on a panel with Daniel<\/a> and Justine Flynn<\/a> from Thankyou, to help both inspire and show how ANYONE can do amazing things with the influence they have and the passions that motivate them.<\/span><\/p>\n

We received some amazing\u00a0submissions from ProBlogger Event attendees for this panel over the past couple of months. At ProBlogger HQ we were inspired and uplifted to see how people are using their influence for good in many and varied ways.\u00a0As much as we would love for everyone\u2019s story to be told, it’s just not be possible to fit everyone into the schedule. But we have arrived at our two panellists to feature alongside Daniel and Justine in a discussion moderated by Emma Stirling<\/a>….<\/p>\n

A very big and warm hearted CONGRATULATIONS and props to Sarah Rosborg and Alexx Stuart!<\/p>\n

Sarah started working with Rafiki Mwema to raise some money\u00a0to prevent this Kenyan\u00a0girls safe house\u00a0from closing down. Subsequently, Sarah started the\u00a0Australian branch of Rafiki Mwema and has achieved some incredible milestones – all from one person asking how they can help.<\/p>\n

Sarah is the hardest working, committed and borderline crazy charity CEO. She lives and breathes helping and caring for others to have a better and safer life. She has a creative and overactive mind which is programmed permanently to raising funds and awareness for Rafiki Mwema. Sarah is a full on mum to her amazing daughter and wife to Jonas who tries to balance her days by reminding her to stop working for a moment! Sarah relaxes by working harder and puts those around her to shame by her energy – if Sarah has a fault it is that she never knows when she has done enough!<\/p>\n

Alexx Stuart is an amazing example of how creating awareness and making a lot of ‘small’ changes can grow into a movement and community that scales and positively impacts more and more people and our environment.<\/p>\n
