With less than 6 weeks to go the excitement is building here at ProBlogger HQ about the 2014 PBEVENT.<\/p>\n

There are numerous things that I\u2019m looking forward to about this year\u2019s event but topping the list is our amazing lineup of speakers<\/a>. We\u2019re bringing in 4 amazing international speakers this year but I\u2019m also particularly proud of our local speaker line up.<\/p>\n

Aussie blogging has come a long way since the first PBEVENT in 2010 and this year we\u2019re pulling together a wonderful mix of Aussie speakers, half of whom have never spoken at one of our events before.<\/p>\n

But wait\u2026. there\u2019s more! 5 more to be exact!<\/h3>\n

To close Day 1 of our event this year we\u2019ve invited 5 successful Aussie bloggers to come and each share their best advice about blogging into a session we\u2019re calling \u20185 in 50\u2019.<\/p>\n

Each of the 5 bloggers selected will be challenged to pack their best advice and most actionable tips into a short, sharp and punchy presentation.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll want to come to this session with a notepad and pen at the ready because we want you to come away with a heap of takeaways!<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s who you\u2019ll be hearing from in this last session of Day 1:<\/h3>\n

\"katrinaspringer\"<\/a>Katrina Springer<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Organised Housewife<\/a>\u00a0is one of Australia\u2019s most popular parenting blogs. Katrina writes about how she manages her home and family, allowing her readers an intimate view into her home life, right down to the bathroom cupboards! \u00a0Kat has been blogging for four years and has an outstanding Facebook community of over 450,000. \u00a0Kat has a passion for organising which also aligns with her blog management. \u00a0She has strict working hours and manages to fit everything needed into this time.<\/p>\n

Kat recently was featured in one of our ProBlogger.com webinars and gave some really great practical advice that helped many so I’m excited to hear what she has to share!<\/p>\n

Candice Deville<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since beginning her current blog in 2008, Candice Deville has turned her personal passion into a multi faceted business. Heading up a company specialising in vintage styling, she\u2019s worked with bands, brides and bombshells the world over.\u00a0 She is a sought after speaker at heritage and social media events alike. Her blog, Vintage Current<\/a> (formerly known as Super Kawaii Mama), became the go to place for anyone looking for fashion and lifestyle inspiration outside the mainstream offerings. Creating tutorials for her You Tube channel saw her become a cult viewing success with over 2 millions views. In true vintage spirit, Candice has been a web devotee since the days of Bulletin Board systems.<\/p>\n

I’ve been hoping to get Candice to come and speak at a PBEVENT for a few years now so was over the moon that she accepted our invitation to share in this session!<\/p>\n

\"brookeschoenman\"<\/a>Brooke Schoenman<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brooke launched\u00a0Her Packing List<\/a>\u00a0back in late 2010 and has since grown the readership to over 200,000 users every month, making it a premier resource for female travel gear and packing advice.\u00a0In addition to working with brands and advertisers, implementing affiliate marketing practices and releasing a packing ebook, she has also used Her Packing List as a jumping board for creating and marketing her own travel products. The first,\u00a0Aroamas<\/a>\u00a0solid perfume sticks, was launched in 2013 as an alternative to liquid perfumes for women on the road.\u00a0Prior to the success of Her Packing List and Aroamas, Brooke wrote regularly on her personal travel blog and worked freelance creating travel content for such outlets as Viator, OneTravel, BBC Travel and BootsnAll.<\/p>\n

As a bit of a travel gear junkie I’ve been secretly reading Brooke’s blog for a while now and am excited to hear what she’s got to share with us!<\/p>\n

Yaro is the founder and writer of the\u00a0Entrepreneurs-Journey.com<\/a>\u00a0blog. He has managed to avoid full time employment his entire life thanks to the internet, which he discovered\u00a0and\u00a0fell in love with in the late 1990s.<\/p>\n

Successful projects\u00a0Yaro\u00a0started and later sold, include a Magic: The Gathering card game trading forum and e-commerce site, a proofreading business called BetterEdit, and a portfolio of website investments, including a blog called Small Business Branding and a collection of sites in the miniature motorcycles niche.\u00a0Since 2005\u00a0Yaro\u00a0has made over a million dollars thanks to his blog. His specialty is the “Blog Sales Funnel”, a system that combines a blog with segmented automatic email lists to sell digital products and services.<\/p>\n

Yaro spoke at our first ever event in 2010 so I’m excited to have him back!<\/p>\n

Today\u00a0Yaro\u00a0continues to teach his blogging system through his various coaching programs available from\u00a0www.ejinsider.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"kate\"<\/a>Kate McKibbin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before launching\u00a0DropDeadGorgeousDaily.com<\/a>\u00a0in 2007, Kate worked for several women’s glossies, both here and in the UK including, Shop Til You Drop, New Woman, Grazia.com.au, Cosmopolitan UK, and even had a column in FHM. She has listed shopping as her number one hobby from about the age of five. Kate was crowned as one of Anthill’s 30 under 30 entrepreneurs in 2010.<\/p>\n

Every time we ask PBEVENT attendees who they’d like to hear speak at future events Kate is requested so I’m excited to have her involved from the stage this year!<\/p>\n
