We\u2019re going to release 105 more PBEVENT tickets tomorrow evening (Wednesday 12 March) at 8pm.<\/p>\n
When we released tickets this year for PBEVENT we did so anticipating an event similar in size to last year – 450 bloggers, speakers and team (slightly up on last year). <\/p>\n
We anticipated that tickets would sell out but based upon last years sales thought it would take at least a few weeks for this to happen – thus giving most people a chance to pick one up if they acted reasonably quick.<\/p>\n
What we didn\u2019t count on was a complete sell-out within 5 hours!<\/p>\n
Watching tickets get snapped up so quickly was an amazing buzz for our team as we watched it together on Skype that day but after watching the first 200 sell in 5 minutes our excited conversation quickly began to turn to concern for who might be missing out on the event because they were stuck at work, looking after kids or unable to get online at exactly the right time.<\/p>\n
My goal with PBEVENT has always been to equip and inspire as many Aussie bloggers as possible with a high quality event. This has always meant something of a juggle of venue size, budgets, format and more. <\/p>\n
After a great deal of discussion amongst our team this past week and with a lot of help from our venue partners QT Gold Coast and our production team we\u2019ve decided to release 100 more tickets to this year\u2019s event. <\/p>\n
We\u2019re going to reconfigure the venue and tweak our planned schedule to accommodate the changes but we\u2019re confident that we can put together an event that is as high quality as we would have otherwise.<\/p>\n
Tickets will go on sale via Eventbrite at 8pm Melbourne time tomorrow evening (Wednesday). <\/p>\n
We will release 100 \u2018blogger\u2019 rate tickets ($399) and 5 \u2018brand\u2019 rate tickets ($599)<\/p>\n
