Over the last few days we’ve been asked numerous times if we have any information on next year’s ProBlogger Training Event yet – to help people make decisions on when and how much to save for.<\/p>\n
We’re still a little way off announcing firm dates and venue but I did want to give you as much information as early as we can. So here’s what I can say:<\/p>\n
Our 2013 event received so much positive feedback, we couldn’t resist going another round – it will be our 5th birthday next year!<\/p>\n
This event keeps getting bigger and better – so we’ve gotten our skates on even earlier this time around and have already started planning for next year. We have drafted a schedule, identified some key speakers we want to chase and are talking to venues and sponsors already. We’ve also expanded our team a little so as to serve you even better in the lead up to and during the event.<\/p>\n
We are yet to fully lock this in so reserve the right to change, but as it looks like being a few weeks earlier next year we wanted you to know. Pencil in 29-30 August for now.<\/p>\n
I can’t tell you this yet but my hope is to let you know by the end of year. I can tell you that it WILL be in Australia (sorry… no Bali or Fiji event… yet).<\/p>\n
We’re obviously a long way out but we did learn a lot from last year and got some great feedback from the attendee survey so are already planning some tweaks to our approach. <\/p>\n
For starters we promise that we’ll do our best to not have sessions that are so full that some attendees have to sit on the floor!<\/p>\n
As always we’ll have a focus upon monetisation but want to go beyond some of the approaches we’ve covered in the past. <\/p>\n
We’ve also heard the call to provide some sessions with more advanced and technical focus and want to provide more opportunity for interaction and blog critiques.<\/p>\n
We’re also aware that we have a fair few newer bloggers so want to provide content that is accessible for those at the beginning of their journey.<\/p>\n
As always our event is focused upon training and equipping bloggers and the international and Aussie speakers we’re approaching for next year will be those we think can deliver you some real meat!<\/p>\n
Stay tuned on this. Our aim is, as always, to provide you with a value for money experience. <\/p>\n
Each of our 4 events have grown in size considerably and this last PBEVENT had around 450 in attendance. Next year we’ve decided that we’ll most likely cap our numbers at around the same size. This is partly to do with venues but also because we liked the size this last year in that enabled us to do some big things – but also retain some level of intimacy. <\/p>\n
We’re already thinking about how to make this a good fun time to relax and have plenty of opportunity for networking. Stay tuned for some new ideas on this front for next year.<\/p>\n
