Today I’m excited to announce the first in what I think is a wonderful array of speakers for the ProBlogger training event in Melbourne this October.<\/p>\n
I’ve heard from each in the last few days that they’ll be flying in from North America for the event and are eager to share their knowledge and meet some of Australia’s blogging community.<\/p>\n
They are:<\/p>\n
Sonia Simone describes herself as ‘the marketer for people who hate marketing’. She is co-founder and CMO of Copyblogger Media – a company with a suite of marketing and training products which are invaluable to tens of thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of readers. <\/p>\n
Sonia has worked as senior editor on the highly successful CopyBlogger blog and is founder of Remarkable Communication. Find her on Twitter at @SoniaSimone.<\/p>\n
Sonia will be involved at a number of sessions at the Melbourne ProBlogger event and will particularly be teaching on developing a community of readers who go on to become customers – as well as speaking about setting up paid membership areas and sites that combine education with community.<\/p>\n
Chris Garrett has a wealth of experience in many aspects of blogging and has worked for many years in coaching bloggers of all levels to be authorities in their niches. <\/p>\n
Chris co-authored ProBlogger the book with me and spoke at the first ProBlogger event in 2009.He’s a sought after speaker and coach and trainer.<\/p>\n
Chris will be involved in a number of sessions at the Melbourne ProBlogger event and is already preparing to present on the topic of how Webinars and courses can be used by bloggers. He’ll also be involved on the topic of growing ‘authority business models’.<\/p>\n
Chris and Sonia make up the international component to the speaking group at this event – however there is still a lot more to announce in terms of the local group of speakers that I’m currently arranging.<\/p>\n
