BLOGGING
what's your story?
An invitation to you to be on the problogger podcast
We want your stories of how you started a blog NOW.
We’d love to hear from bloggers at all stages - from those of you who have been at it for years - through to those of you who started in 2017. We’d love to hear from blogs of all niches, styles, countries and sizes.
This is going to really help a lot of new bloggers but hopefully will also be good for you as it’ll get your story and blog in front of thousands of listeners of this podcast (they’re a friendly bunch).
To participate we’d love you to submit a short audio file (no more than 10 minutes) that tells your story of starting a blog and shares your tips for those starting out.
The button below will take you through to a Google form with the questions we'd like you to answer in the audio, and where you can upload your audio file and photo. You will be required to sign into your Google account to complete the form.
QUESTIONS
In your submitted audio file please cover the following topics/questions.
- Tell us your name, your blog’s name and topic and it’s URL. (keep this short)
- Tell us the story of starting your blog.
- Why did you start?
- When did you start?
- What were your objectives/hopes/goals/dreams for the blog? - In hindsight, what did you do in starting your blog that you’re most grateful that you did?
- What mistakes did you make that you would advise others avoid?
- What’s good things have happened since you started your blog? Feel free to share a few (traffic, opportunities, lessons, income etc)
- What is your #1 tip for new bloggers? Something practical that new bloggers can do or decide that will have a big impact.
Please note:
While we will try to use as many submissions as possible we cannot guarantee that all will be used. To increase the chances of yours being chosen please try to make the quality of audio as good as you’re able to and the tips you share as practical (and if possible a little unique) as possible.
