Agorapulse is seeking a personable, intelligent, energetic and innovative individual with relevant experience to join our growing team as a Social Media Science Storyteller.
The Storyteller will be the brains and the mouthpiece for truly experimental content on the topic of social media marketing. You’ll be responsible for delivering evidence-based content that will be shared among social media influencers, marketing agencies, and social media managers around the world.
Our ideal candidate will be able to utilize a blend of right brain writing creativity with left brain social media science.
This job is full time and remote.
REQUIREMENTS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research, craft, and promote longform content on social media marketing experiments
- Multitask the development of several concurrent content projects in a variety of form factors (blog, downloadables, video, podcast)
- Cultivate a collaborative, advisory relationship with our target audience and social media influencers
- Communicate daily with community advocacy and marketing teammates to mutually share market feedback
- Report on a monthly basis to summarize opportunities and previous period results
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be a flexible and adaptable go-getter comfortable with a fast moving, fast changing environment. Being a self-starter is key as you’ll be working remotely.
- Awe-inspiring writer: You relish in writing longform content that is optimized for both your audience and search engines.
- Social media guru: Seriously. You have deep social media marketing knowledge and experience. You’ve formed your own opinions about social best practices and don’t need to constantly quote others. With that said, you’re willing to test your own assumptions. An established, loyal social media following will work to your advantage here.
- Feverish analytics sifter: While you’re good with words, you also have a passion for numbers -- where they come from, what they mean, and what social media marketers can learn from them. A/B testing is in your DNA.
- Relationship builder: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You take the initiative to form new relations with businesses, agencies, and influencers and foster existing relations so that they can’t wait to hear from you each time you reach out to them.
- Driven, Zen-like project manager: You ably keep all your responsibilities moving forward and are consistently mindful of the status of tasks you’ve assigned to others. You can do this all with a lean team that gives you the respect, trust and responsibility to operate with minimal oversight.
