Long-Term Writer Needed

I’m looking for a seasoned writer to write high-quality ‘authority’ blog posts on topics like: optometry, weddings, insurance, supplements, fitness, AdWords and SEO.

We have a large cross section of clients, so you could end up writing on many topics, or specialising.

The most important thing I’m looking for is personality. The writer needs to have a copywriting/direct response background, understand the value of good copy and SEO, and understand how to incorporate the client’s voice and tone into each blog post.

You’ll be writing 4-12 posts per month (1,000-3,500 words per article.)

Our blog content creation process is different so PLEASE READ:

1. We've already decided the topics and post titles (You don't have to.)
2. We have buyer personas for each market so you will know exactly who you’re writing for.
3. We’ve already done keyword research for each post. This means you’ll do hardly any research; your focus will be outlining and creating high quality content that brings out the client’s voice and tone. We have original examples of what have performed well previously so you’ll have a model when outlining.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Write several blog posts per month (ongoing)
2. Write original, high-quality, long-form blog posts that reflect previous articles we’ve written and the client's communication style
3. Optimize for 1-2 keywords per post. We do NOT keyword stuff and want our posts to sound natural above everything else
4. Proofread and edit your posts thoroughly (preferably through Grammarly) so they're ready to publish
5. Make one to two rounds of revisions based on client feedback

Qualifications:

1. Ability to turnaround blog posts in 3 to 5 business days
2. Excellent writing, grammar, spelling and formatting; English must be your first language
3. Ability to talk on Skype
4. Ability to provide several samples of your work
