Android Authority is looking for talented and passionate freelancers that are experts in their field and want to share their knowledge with our audience of tens of millions of readers per month.
We're looking to fill freelance roles in a variety of product categories and content types:
- Smartphones (Android, iOS, and more)
- Laptops/Chromebooks/Windows
- PC/peripherals (SSDs, routers, GPUs etc)
- Smart home/IoT
- Audio products
- Streaming/entertainment
- TVs/monitors/display tech
- Cameras/camera tech/image sensors
- Wearables (smartwatches, fitness trackers, and more)
- Accessories (mobile, computing, gaming, and more)
and more
You'd be writing about the above in one or more of the following areas of the site:
- Product reviews
- Versus comparisons
- News
- How-to content
- Feature pieces/long form
and more
If you have formidable knowledge about one or more of the topics above and experience in writing about it, we'd love to hear from you. Please let us know in your application which areas you consider yourself an expert in and what types of writing experience you have. Note: only experienced candidates will be considered.
You must have a strong command of written American English, perfect grammar, an excellent eye for detail, a passion to share your knowledge with the world, and a collaborative team spirit. If you have these qualities and more, what are you waiting for?!

Duties:
- Flexible hours/workload – pathways to part- or full-time are possible for the right candidate
- Research, develop, and produce high-quality and authoritative content — from ideation to publication — in a timely manner, often under tight deadlines
- Pitch topics and tackle assigned tasks with diligence, accuracy, and professionalism
- Coordinate with Managing Editor on topics, schedules, and priorities
Requirements:
- Professional writing experience
- Knowledge of, or willingness to adapt to, AP writing style
- Deep understanding of one or more of the topics mentioned above
- An ability to adapt to Android Authority's preferred style, tone, and article length
- Familiarity with WordPress and basic understanding of html
Nice-to-haves:
- An ability to take original photos to accompany articles, if required.
- A willingness to write about multiple topics across various content types
- SEO knowledge
Compensation:
- Competitive, based on experience
