Primal Nutrition, Inc. is seeking a talented Content Marketing Manager to take full responsibility of our editorial calendar and inbound marketing strategies associated with Mark’s Daily Apple. This person will be in charge of overseeing marketing and content activity on a day-to-day basis, working with members of the team to deliver high-quality articles and marketing messages. They will be in charge of attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business, and nurturing those leads to customers.
Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, with experience in content, newsletter, and affiliate marketing, and has a publishing/editorial background. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain readers, subscribers, and customers, and should have a genuine passion for—and considerable knowledge of—ancestral health and fitness.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Proven work experience as a Content Marketing Manager
Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics and tools
Project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Proficiency in WordPress
Familiarity with assorted other applications, including Infusionsoft, Magento, SumoMe, Aweber, and LeadPages is a plus
Knowledge of basic HTML and photo editing skills is a plus
A personal interest in and passion for the paleo/primal lifestyle

Responsibilities & Duties
Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals
Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high quality content
Develop blog editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met
Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and inspire team members
Edit, proofread and improve content
Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics
Analyze web traffic metrics and base decisions on those insights
Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence
Receive reader/subscriber/customer feedback and generate ideas to increase engagement
Stay up-to-date on relevant topics and trends in the ancestral health sphere
Manage relationships with select affiliate partners
Project manage, develop and publish weekly broadcast newsletters
