We are working with a number of financial services companies focused on the small business and consumer segments. We help them profitably build and scale their paid content marketing channels.
Consumer finance publishers aren't exactly known to attract the Joan Didions of the world. But, a 'journalism' approach is needed to explain the perils and promise of certain financial products to an increasingly vulnerable market.
More about the opportunity:
- Generate 1 to 2 personal finance and small business-related articles per week.
- Length should be approx 1,500 words, or however long it takes to fully explain a topic (e.g. "How to calculate the true cost of your merchant cash advance") using primary and secondary sources.
- Write in a conversational tone. Though you will back your points up with facts, you are being read by someone on the Internet.
If you empathize with your reader, can handle concise (and professional) feedback, and you *enjoy* explaining complicated subjects, we'll work together swimmingly.
We'll guide your work more heavily at the beginning. Once we get used to one another, you'll have more autonomy (both in terms of topic selection and editing).
